Another ootd today. My husband and I spend all sunday shooting a few looks, and this is one of them. I love it very much! Velvet was a huge trend last year, and this year is no acception. BTW velvet is always a yes for me no matter what season it is or when it is ‘in fashion’ yes or not. I don’t care. I love me some velvet and I like it anyways. We had a super fun chilled day driving around for some great spots to shoot. We had our newborn Billy-Rose with us. Our oldest daughter had a sleepover at my parents house. Billy loves being in the car with us. She is such a sweet angel. She almost everytime falls a sleep as soon as we start driving. And that comes in real handy so mommy and daddy could shot some great pictures. We also brought our sweet little dog Jessie with us. She hates being home alone so we try to take her with us as much as possible. I even took some pictures with her. Isn’t she cute?
I wore my velvet midi pencil skirt from Urban Outfitters (bought this one last year in New York) and decided to combine velvet with velvet with this beautiful blue number. This puffer jacket I bought at Primark of all places and was only 30 euro. Although it’s from last year, the highstreet and the highend shops as well have brought out a lot of similar ones. I loved this one of course because of the stunning color. Now that I’m looking at the pictures it was quite a monochromatic look because my jumper is also blue, and it’s from &OtherStories. Have I told you already that I love this store? Yes I did lol. I wore my Quay sunnies (it was actually quite sunny that day which is very rare in Holland nowadays) and my H&M beanie. I had to because I had an acceptional bad hairday that day. To top it all off I had my blue metallic (yes blue again, do you see a pattern here) Stella Mccartney Falabella bag with me. I have this one in burgundy as well as you might recognise from a previous post ‘Meet my friend Stella’. I loved it so much that I bought a second one. They fit so much stuff and look good with so many outfits, so it comes in handy when youre a mom of two just like myself.
On my feet I wore the most dreamy boots of life! My Dolce&Gabbana crystal embellished boots. Aren’t these a sight for sore eyes? They are not the most comfortable boots but in this case it’s looks over comfort. I don’t wear these to often because of the fact that they are not that comfortable but when I do I feel really special. They are also a real conversation starter. Just random people in the street ask me where I got these shoes. And the best part is that I bought these in the sale with 30% off because oh my these were expensive. So the 30% off was very welcome.
I hope you liked this outfitpost! Let me know what you think. I also want to let you know that I made some exciting purchases so there will be outfitpost about that soon 😉
Until next time!
